Can A Blood Speak ?

This was the message which i heard a year back and got inspired,excited and wanted to share with you all.If you ask me to give a title for this sharing it will be "The Speaking Blood".

Well you may ask "Can a blood speak ?", so did two of the bloods in the bible.

First in the Old Testament (First Blood) and the other one in the New Testament(Best Blood).

First Blood

First Brothers:
As all we have heard of the first couple in this earth are Adam & Eve and they had two children namely Cain and Abel. ( Gen 4: 1-2 )
As day passed by Cain became a farmer taking care of the fields and Abel was maintaining the flocks.

First Offering:
Time to give sacrifice/worship to the God with what they have, Abel the younger one gave the best sheep from one of his flocks.And Cain gave the vegetables which was from his field.

God was happy with the offering from Abel and rejected the elder's offering. Why???

The answer is in the new Testament :)

In Hebrews 11:4, it's said that Abel's offering was accepted because of the faith in God , while Cain did the offering just as a formality. Friends God is not seeing wat we give but with which heart we give. - By faith Abel offered God a better sacrifice than Cain did. By faith he was commended as a righteous man, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith he still speaks, even though he is dead.

First Pre-Planned Murder :

So Cain get jealous of his younger brother and asks him to come to his fields.
When Abel came he was killed by his own brother.

Now Cain said to his brother Abel, “Let's go out to the field.” And while they were in the field, Cain attacked his brother Abel and killed him. Gen 4:8

Possible reasons for the murder:

1. Its natural that when a first baby is born in a family everybody will be loving that child but wen the next one comes obviously the love is shared with the younger one too. This could have been the starting point of anger for Cain.

2. He likes to be praised by everyone thats the reason when God rejected his offering the Jealous over his brother took control over him.

Speaking of Cain's Blood :

The LORD said, “What have you done? Listen! Your brother's blood cries out to me from the ground. Gen 4:10

Since Abel was a righteous man and he was killed for no reason the blood of Abel was pleading to God for justice. Now what was God's Response ???

Now you are under a curse and driven from the ground, which opened its mouth to receive your brother's blood from your hand. When you work the ground, it will no longer yield its crops for you. You will be a restless wanderer on the earth.” Gen 4:11-12

A righteous man "Abel" who had faith in God, was he forgotten ???

Even after many centuries Abel was again remembered for his faith in new Testament Now we also speak about him and his faith!!!

What happened to Cain ??

- He built a City and created a dynasty Gen 4:17.

Was he remembered over years/Centuries ?

-The cities and the people from the root of Cain were fully washed away in the flood which came in the days of Noah.Only Noah's family got saved from the entire wash out.

Who was Noah ?

Well If Abel was killed then who was the ancestor for a faithful servant like Noah and his Generations. (Obviously not Cain)

God replaced Seth for Abel - Adam lay with his wife again, and she gave birth to a son and named him Seth, saying, “God has granted me another child in place of Abel, since Cain killed him.” Gen 4:25.

The Best Blood

Who's Blood is the BEST ???

You have come to God, the judge of all men, to the spirits of righteous men made perfect,

to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

( Hebrews 12:23-24 )

Why its Called the Best Blood ???

One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: “Aren't you the Christ? Save yourself and us!”

But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don't you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence?

We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.”

Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”

Jesus answered him, “I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise.”

( Luke 23:39-43 ).

Now this is the Conversation taking place in the mount calvary, With Jesus two others also were hanging in the cross and since one criminal asks for forgiveness Jesus says he will be in paradise ( During the time when Jesus was shedding all his blood in that Cross) . Hallelujah!!!!

That criminal was not having a righteous life and I doubt whether he got baptized by holy spirit but still he was the first person to enter the paradise with Jesus Christ (The only Son of God).

If any one wants to know the meaning of "grace" then this is what it is.

A Blood Test

If we do a Comparison between the First Blood and the Best blood we can get some interesting and exciting truths.

1) Purpose of the two blood :

• Abel's Blood was crying for justice from God.
• But Jesus's Blood was pleading for forgiveness for saving the entire mankind.

2) Response for the blood's cry:

• Abel's blood cry brought the curse to the entire generation of Cain.
• But Jesus's blood, till today helps all the mankind to get saved and enter into the paradise

3) From where the Blood spoke ??

• Abel's blood cried unto the Lord from the land (from downward to upwards)
• Raised Jesus sprinkles his blood from above to all the mankind who asks for it.

Overall Abel's blood cried for himself, but the Christ and his blood cries to save all the people of all nations,all castes and all religion to get saved. That's why the blood of Jesus Christ is called "The Best Blood".
